In education there have been lots of developments in the past decades, many of which did not have the intended effect and were reversed. Knowledge and quality have been and remain focal areas. The establishment of broad schools, i.e. schools cooperating with day care centres, sports organisations etc., is a development that has the government's attention and yields interesting projects in the context of PPP and tendering procedures.
